Manchester United and Tottenham to go head-to-head for star striker in January
Saido Berahino is on Manchester United and Tottenham's radar
MANCHESTER UNITED have shortlisted West Brom star Saido Berahino according to reports.

The young striker was unsettled at the Hawthorns over the summer, threatening to never play for the club again after failing to get a transfer away.
However, Tony Pulis has since shown faith in the 22-year-old and he has duly repaid him, netting three times in seven Premier League appearances.

And it seems the good form has not gone unnoticed, with reports suggesting Louis van Gaal is keen to snap him up as competition for Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial.
Tuttomercatoweb claim United have put the striker on their shopping list and are keeping tabs on his situation with the Baggies.

However, they may have to act swiftly if they are to sign him as Tottenham are also known to be keen on acquiring the striker's services.
Spurs had two deadline-day bids for the England U21 international rejected, which are understood to have been the reason for his pre-season outburst.

And they are believed to be readying a third bid in January as they attempt once again to lure him to White Hart Lane.
Mauricio Pochettino is short on attacking talent with only Harry Kane and Clinton Njie to cal upon following the injury to new signing Son Heung-Min.
