Sergi Samper and Wilfrid Kaptoum were scouted by Manchester United
MANCHESTER UNITED have sent scouts to track Barcelona duo Sergi Samper and Wilfrid Kaptoum, according to reports.

A United scout was present at Barca's goalless Copa del Rey draw with third-tier Villanovense last night.
It's understood midfielder Samper was the main focus of attention, however, Cameroonian teenager Kaptoum was also on the radar, according to the Daily Star.

"I felt good on the pitch. With the passing of time and I let go and finished with a good feeling," Kaptoum said after the game.
"Samper, Gumbau and I know each other very well from Barça B, but it's different to play with the first team."

"I have to earn minutes in the return leg. The coach decides if I will participate."
Samper added: "I'm very Satisfied. It was not the best result but everything remains open for the second leg. We knew it would be a tough game."
"My job is to do my best and improve as much as possible."

Despite the shock 0-0 result, the credentials of the duo are not in question and Samper is believed to be one of the best prospects to come through the La Masia academy.
Arsenal are also reportedly interested in acquiring the 20-year-old's services and both clubs may move to meet his £8.5million release clause.
