BASTIAN SCHWEINSTEIGER is likely to miss Germany's final Euro 2016 qualifier against Georgia after picking up a thigh problem.
The 31-year-old was absent as the world champions lost 1-0 to the Republic of Ireland in Dublin last night.
And after the match, manager Joachim Low gave an update on the midfielder.
"Schweinsteiger probably won't play on sunday," said Low.
"The medical staff said he has to take a break for two or three days.
"He will stay with us and we will see, what is possible. But it does not look like he can play."
Schweinsteiger joins Wayne Rooney and Marcos Rojo as injury doubts for United's clash with Everton on October 17.
Rooney is out of England's final two qualifiers while Rojo withdrew from the Argentina's squad with a grade 1 injury in his right hamstring.
Ander Herrera could be back to face the Toffees after posting a picture on Twitter confirming his return to training.
