Liverpool have been handed a much-needed injury boost as defender Jon Flanagan says he hopes to be back by December.The 22-year-old has not played a competitive match since May last year but is confident of coming back before Christmas.The news will come as a boost to Liverpool after both Danny Ings and Joe Gomez were ruled out for the rest of the season.“It’s been going well. It’s obviously been a frustrating time since last year when I got the injury,” he said.“I’m back running now and hopefully I can push on and get back in the team in a couple of months.Elsewhere, the Reds may well have been alerted to the fact that Andriy Yarmolenko wants a big move.The Ukraine international signed a new five-year contract at Dynamo Kiev earlier today but admits he wants to to move nonetheless and has been linked with a move to Anfield in the past.
