Juventus chief announces shock deal with Chelsea ahead of January transfer window
Juan Cuadrado will reportedly make his move to Juventus permanent
JUVENTUS’ general manager Giuseppe Marotta has confirmed Chelsea loanee Juan Cuadrado is keen to make the deal permanent.

The Colombia international is spending the season on loan with the defending Serie A champions, however does not have a clause to make the deal permanent.
Although, the Juve chief expects a deal will be agreed with the Blues by the end of the season to keep the 27-year-old in Turin.

 - a significant hit for Chelsea on the original fee they paid last January.
The London club forked out £23.3m for the winger, sending Mohamed Salah on loan to Fiorentina in return, to ensure the deal was completed.

However, it failed to work out for Cuadrado at Stamford Bridge and he has now found his feet once more in Italy and is ‘happy’ at Juve.
“We have no agreement to [sign him on a permanent basis], it is just a loan [without option to purchase him]," he told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.

"He's expressed his happiness at being here with us, and his happiness to continue here in future.
"We'll look at things with Chelsea at the appropriate time, but it's very likely that there will be a good conclusion."
