| Jose Mourinho says Thibaut Courtois will be back in December |
CHELSEA boss Jose Mourinho says goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is on course to return from injury in December.
The Belgium international went under the knife in Spain last month after he tore his meniscus during training.
Mourinho has revealed he is looking to sign a new goalkeeper to provide cover for back-up stopper Asmir Begovic, who has started the last nine game.
But the Blues boss is confident Courtois will return to full fitness by December at the very latest, meaning he should be available for the trip to Manchester United on the 28th.
The Portuguese said: “Courtois is recovering well, working well, but obviously he cannot fight the time. He has that time until he is back.
“December for him. First week, second, third? We don’t know, but it’s December for sure.
“Every thing has gone well. But apart from that - no injuries.”
