Harry Redknapp has urged Jurgen Klopp to test himself by taking the Sunderland job |
HARRY REDKNAPP has challenged Jurgen Klopp to take the vacant manager's job at Sunderland instead of joining Liverpool.
The German is widely expected to take over from Brendan Rodgers at Anfield but there is another vacant position in the Premier League after Dick Advocaat left the Stadium of Light. And Redknapp has laid down the gauntlet. He appears to suggest that taking over the Merseyside club would not be much of a test and instead insists he would like to see him get the struggling Black Cats out of trouble."Jurgen Klopp I don't know," he said. "He did well and had a nightmare last year, nearly finished bottom of the league because he lost a couple of good players."Redknapp continued by questioning the quality of Liverpool's squad and conceded the top six and the bottom six are set in stone anyway.
