Jurgen Klopp has one win from four games as Liverpool manager |
HARRY REDKNAPP thinks Jurgen Klopp has not made a difference to Liverpool and reckons they do not have a team capable of mounting a title challenge.
Klopp got his first win as the new Reds boss against Bournemouth on Wednesday after three consecutive draws.
Pundits have said Klopp's philosophy has already been evident in Liverpool but Redknapp strongly disagrees.
He told the Evening Standard: "I don’t see Jurgen Klopp has made any difference at all yet. I heard people after his first game at Tottenham saying you could see the change in Liverpool.
"How? He only had one day’s training with them because it was a Saturday game and there were international matches in the week before.
"What did he do in that one session? Sprinkle magic dust on them or something? Yes, they ran about a lot more but they should look at themselves and ask why they didn’t try harder for Brendan Rodgers.
"At the end of the day, it is about good players. Liverpool haven’t got a team capable of challenging for the title."
