Jack Grealish has a big future ahead of him, says Joe Cole

JOE COLE believes Aston Villa starlet Jack Grealish has the talent to go all the way to the top.

 

Grealish hit the headlines this week after committing his international future to England, despite playing for Ireland at U21 level.

And Cole believes it's good news, heaping praise on the youngster's attitude and exceptional ability.

“Young Jack’s a top player, he’s a lovely mover of the ball,” Villa team-mate Cole told talkSPORT.

“Last season he was at that stage where he was way too good for under-21 football and then he was just finding his feet.

“This season he’s had a few niggling injuries but has still been influential.

"He changed the game in the cup against Birmingham and scored a lovely goal against Leicester.

“I think if you look at him, it’s not just his technical ability, physically there’s a lot of quality. 

"He’s got a lovely shape and he can be as good as he wants to be. He works hard and he wants to learn.” 

Grealish has made 22 Premier League appearances for Villa and has scored one goal this campaign in the 3-2 defeat to Leicester.
