Everton 1 - Liverpool 1: Lukaku rescues point for Toffees in Merseyside derby
ROMELU LUKAKU thundered home a first-half equaliser to secure a 1-1 draw for Everton in the Merseyside derby.
Liverpool took the lead through Danny Ings with his header four minutes before the break.
The former Burnley man was left unmarked in the six yard box and simply had to head home a corner.
However, Liverpool were quickly brought back to earth when Everton found their equaliser just four minutes later.

Gerard Deulofeu's cross in the box only found Emre Can who volleyed it into the chest of team-mate Martin Skrtel.
The ball then fell invitingly to Romelu Lukaku's feet who hammered it home from inside the box to draw level.
Neither side were able to captalise on any second-half chances and the draw left Everton one point in front of their old rivals and in sixth place.
