CHELSEA will sell midfielder John Obi Mikel to Besiktas in the January transfer window, according to reports in Turkey.
The Nigerian was strongly linked with a move in the summer and Turkish publication Fanatik say they will revive their interest when the transfer window reopens.
Mikel is struggling for game-time this season, having featured in just three of the Blues' eight Premier League matches this term.
He appears to be surplus to requirements under manager Jose Mourinho, whose midfield has come in for widespread criticism.
Cesc Fabregas and Nemanja Matic have both failed to replicate last season's impressive form and have not escaped their boss's wrath.
While team selection was consistent in last year's title-winning campaign, Mourinho has not been scared to drop his star players this season - most notably in the Champions League.
Fabregas's miserable time continued during the international break, with a penalty miss in Ukraine that was witnessed by his club manager.
Meanwhile, Matic played as Serbia peat fierce rivals Albania 2-0 last Thursday but his country failed to qualify for Euro 2016, finishing fourth in their group with just four points from eight matches.
