Cesc Fabregas speaks out about Jose Mourinho's blip as Chelsea boss
Cesc Fabregas has given Jose Mourinho his full backing
CESC FABREGAS has rushed to the defence of under-fire Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, claiming he is the 'best manager'.

The Portuguese is enduring one of the toughest spells of his managerial career, and with the Blues floundering in sixteenth place in the Premier League tensions have begun to rise.
The former Real Madrid boss launched a scathing seven-minute long rant following the 3-1 defeat to Southampton last weekend for which he has been charged by the FA.

However, Fabregas admits the players have not lost faith in their manager and have backed his calls not to 'run away' from the hard times at Stamford Bridge.
"We [Chelsea] are not well, but we will do better. We have the best coach we can have and the best in the history of the club," Fabregas told Radio Marca.

"People have not forgotten that three months ago we won the Premier League and a cup, but we have to change the situation fast and soon."
And Fabregas has admitted it's not just the team as a whole that Mourinho inspires, but also him personally since he returned to the Premier League.

He added: "Personally, he [Mourinho] helped me in a very complicated moment of my career and he gives me confidence.
"I will do whatever he asks to help, whether from the pitch, the bench or the stands. In face-to-face situations he helps me a lot and I respect him for that."
