Arsenal face injury crisis after Arsene Wenger's loses fourth midfielder ahead of Everton
Mikel Arteta has been ruled out of Arsenal's clash with Everton
ARSENE WENGER has lost another midfielder after confirming Mikel Arteta was injured in training.
 
Club captain Arteta may have featured this week after the injury to Aaron Ramsey against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Ramsey has been ruled out until the end of next month with a hamstring strain while Arteta has damaged his ankle.
"We lost Arteta on Thursday with an ankle problem," Wenger said.
 
"From the [Bayern] game we have no injuries but we lost Arteta [in training] yesterday unfortunately.
Wenger is also without Jack Wilshere, Tomas Rosicky, Danny Welbeck and David Ospina.
Arsenal face Everton in the 5.30pm kick off as they bid to move to the top of the table ahead of the Manchester derby on Sunday.
