Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger reveals Alexis Sanchez injury concern after Man Utd thrashing
Alexis Sanchez celebrates after scoring his second goal of the game

ARSENE WENGER is hopeful Alexis Sanchez will be able to shake off a groin injury during the international break after his match-winning performance against Manchester United.

The Chilean scored two stunning goals as Arsenal swept aside the Red Devils 3-1 at the Emirates yesterday.
But he was taken off in the 80th minute for Kieran Gibbs, holding his groin and went straight down the tunnel.

The 26-year-old was selected by his national team for matches against Brazil on Friday and Peru on October 14.
Following the international break, Arsenal face Watford at Vicarage Road then a crucial Champions League fixture with Bayern Munich.

Arsene Wenger will be concerned by Sanchez's injury
Wenger said: "He has a little groin problem.
"Unfortunately he goes to Chile. You cannot stop him from going to Chile and he loves so much to play for his country and he will play against Brazil [on Friday] and Peru [next] Tuesday so the game at home against Brazil he will not want to miss.
"Hopefully he will come back in good shape."
