Wayne Rooney: International record will inspire goals against Liverpool
Wayne Rooney hopes his goal-scoring will continue for the Liverpool game
WAYNE ROONEY is hopeful his England goal-scoring record can help him find the net against Liverpool.

Manchester United take on the Reds at Old Trafford this Saturday (5.30pm) with Rooney yet to score in the Premier League this season.
The England star has had to shoulder the responsibility of scoring United's goals this term following the departure of Radamel Falcao and Robin van Persie.

And he's keen to get back on the score sheet in the league, using the momentum from his 50-goal international record.
He said: "To achieve what I have, I would be lying if I said it didn't put a spring in my step and make you want to carry on (scoring).

"I am very happy and grateful, but on Wednesday I go back to Manchester, get back into training and start focusing on Liverpool.
"Hopefully getting two goals in the last two games will mean I continue scoring."
