Son Heung-min celebrates his South Korea hat-trick |
TOTTENHAM new boy Son Heung-min snubbed a move to Liverpool and Manchester City.
The South Korean star, who joined Spurs for £22million this summer, is set for his Premier League debut this weekend against Sunderland.
He became the most expensive Asian player in history with the move from Bayer Leverkusen.
And, according to the Evening Standard, he chose north London over Merseyside and Manchester.
Son reportedly had offers from the Reds and league leaders City but preferred Tottenham because of their smaller squad and his better chance of playing.
The 23-year-old joined up with his team-mates this week after the international break, where he scored a hat-trick in the 8-0 over Laos.
