PSV 2 - Manchester United 1: Shaw suffers injury shocker in Champions League defeat
Memphis Depay's goal on returning to PSV was bittersweet
LUKE SHAW suffered a suspected broken leg to compound the misery as Manchester United lost their Champions League opener at PSV.

The left-back went down under a challenge from Hector Moreno and received treatment on the field before being taken off on a stretcher and replaced by Marcos Rojo.
His team-mates rallied with a response not long after as former PSV man Memphis Depay weaved his way through before slotting home in the 41st minute.
However, Moreno further incensed the travelling support as he headed home a scrappy equaliser just before half-time.

The visitors largely dominated but it was the hosts who struck first in the second half, Luciano Narsingh heading a Maxime Lestienne cross.
Ander Hererra tried to muster a response form the edge of the area and Anthony Martial showed endeavour on his first United start.
There was even time for the obligatory late introduction of Marouane Fellaini but that did little to galvanise United.
Instead, PSV threatened on the break but a one-goal cushion was enough to give them victory on home soil.
