PSN down: PS4 and PS3 users hit by fresh PlayStation Network server issues
The PlayStation Network, PSN, is reportedly down for many UK PS4 and PS3 users
SONY's PlayStation Network is reportedly down for select PS4 and PS3 users tonight

The PSN is currently listed as running smoothly on Sony's official service Status website, but many users are reporting issues playing games and logging in.
One fan wrote: "Was signed in ready for GTA and then I couldn't load anything thought it was my internet but turns out it's something bigger.
While another replied: "Same, was playing Destiny and then got disconnected from the services and PSN connection was unavailable."
It is currently unclear what could be causing the latest outage, with most reports appearing to be coming from the UK at this time.
Log in issues in the past have seen those players who have already been online able to continue to play, while those turning on their PS4s that night unable to do the same.
However, the PlayStation support team have yet to confirm any problems with the service, while we will keep this page updated with any new information that comes from Sony tonight.
US based PlayStation fans will be hoping for just a short outage, with Labour Day weekend coming up.
The PS4 and PS3 consoles have been hit by a series of sporadic outages since the start of the year and was affected by major issues on Christmas Day 2014, due to a DDOS attack.
The Express can confirm that US users at least in some areas are able to use PSN features without any troubles.
