WAYNE ROONEY has broken his Premier League goal drought with a second-half goal against Sunderland at Old Trafford.
Memphis Depay opened the scoring on the stroke of half-time and it didn't take long for skipper Rooney to double their lead after the break.
New boy Anthony Martial streaked past Younes Kaboul before Wayne Rooney turned home the Frenchman's pass to make it 2-0.
Rooney has now ended his run of 11 Premier League games without a goal.
