Mark Lawrenson: Brendan Rodgers has just 10 days to save his job
Brendan Rodgers has 10 days to save his job says Mark Lawrenson
MARK LAWRENSON believes the next 10 days will either make or break Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers.

The former Swansea manager has come under fire in recent days for the Reds woeful start to the season - languishing in 13th place in the Premier League.
Their poor form was compounded in last night's Capital One Cup display against League Two outfit Carlisle as they limped over the line on penalties.

And a number of names have already begun to circulate Anfield as the heat rises for Rodgers, with Jurgen Klopp and Carlo Ancelotti the frontrunners to succeed him.
Discounting the penalty shoot-out success in the League Cup, Liverpool have failed to win in six consecutive matches.

And Lawrenson believes the next three fixtures against Aston Villa, FC Sion and the Merseyside derby will be the litmus test for whether Rodgers stays or goes.
He told BBC Sport: "I don't like managers getting the sack because I think it is a really difficult job but he's not won for six games - apart from on penalties against a League Two side.
