David Beckham revealed he'd like to pursue a movie career
HE'S certainly got the movie star looks and David Beckham is set to put them to good use as he pursues a career on the silver screen.

The 40-year-old star has confessed he hopes to have a new career in Hollywood after he retired from football two years ago.
And David had wasted no time getting his dream underway, having already landed two roles in his mate Guy Ritchie's upcoming flicks.

The former England captain has a small part in The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and stars in his first speaking role in Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur, which is out next year.
Although he's got off to a flying star, David isn't resting on his fame to get him by.

David said Guy wouldn't cast him 'if he thought it was going to ruin' the film
"I am very aware that many sportsmen and other celebrities have turned their hand to acting and failed," the father-of-four conceded.
In the interview in The Times, he added: "I know that it is a tough profession, where you need a huge amount of skill and discipline, and I wouldn't want to push myself forward too soon, without learning more about it, and doing a lot more practice.
"But what I have done so far, I have loved. I can deal with most things. I am a well-known person, so I have got used to criticism."
Nevertheless, David is confident of his acting abilities, saying Guy wouldn't cast him "if he thought it was going to ruin" the film.

Back in July David took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes snap from The Man from U.N.C.L.E. ahead of Guy Ritchie's wedding to Jacqui Ainsley.
In the image the sportsman wore a smart dark suit and tie and a pair of large retro spectacles.
He also sported a thick moustache and is seen with his usually quiffed locks slicked back.
Beside the snap David wrote: "Don't miss Man from U.N.C.L.E. Proud to have played a small part @guyritchie."
