Germany coach Joachim Loew has accused the Premier League of ruining English football
GERMANY boss Joachim Loew has accused the Premier League of ruining English football and turning his own nation into world beaters.

Loew took an astonishing swipe at England's top flight in the wake of Kevin de Bruyne leaving Wolfsburg to join Manchester City this week for a staggering £55 million.
The young Belgian and Bastian Schweinsteiger, who signed for Man Utd in a £15m deal this summer are the latest in a long line of high profile stars to leave the Bundesliga for the most lucrative league on the planet.

But, World Cup winning manager Loew insists England will never be successful on the international stage while the Premier League continue to pay over the odds for foreign players and there is no emphasis on youth development. .
The German, speaking ahead of tonight's vital European Championship qualifier against Poland, was flabbergasted by the £860m English clubs spent on players this summer with two thirds of the cash leaving the country.

Loew's claims came in light of Kevin De Bruyne's £55million transfer to Manchester City
Loew said: "Premier League clubs are now paying three times what they used to.
"But the good thing is that money is being ploughed back into the Bundesliga.
"That helps make the German national team stronger because in the last few years £100m has been put back into youth development.
"If used sensibly and done the right way then that will work wonders for German football.

"That money has been used to make the standard of young players better.
"It makes sense to raise your own young players and give them an opportunity.
"The English will have face up to that their young players don't get the minutes for their clubs.
"That is why the English national team hasn't set the world alight in major championships, have they? "
