Gabriel was red carded after clashing with Diego Costa |
The FA published written reasons earlier today as to why they rescinded the Arsenal player's red card for his part in the fracas during the Chelsea's 2-0 win 11 days ago.
Now, as Arsenal look to bounce back from the disappointment of losing 3-2 to Olympiakos - a defeat which leaves their Champions' League campaign in tatters after just two games - Gabriel would rather look forwards than backwards.
"All of this Costa stuff is done. It is in the past. I have nothing to say about it. I just want to play and play well and concentrate on Sunday.
"What is going on at Arsenal? What a question… Things are not turning out well in the Champions League. In the Premier League, we are fine – we won our last two games well, but in the Champions League, I don’t know what to say.
"At Arsenal, you always have to be ahead of others because of the club’s history and that is why there is always pressure. Now we need to be calm. We have to work harder and try to win the next game.
"Every game is very important and Sunday is the same. We are at home and we have an obligation to win at home."
