Everton secure deadline day signings of Aaron Lennon and Ramiro Funes Mori
Aaron Lennon spent the second-half of last season on loan with the Toffees
AARON LENNON and Ramiro Funes Mori have joined Everton, but manager Roberto Martinez faced frustration in his attempts to recruit a new No10.

Lennon returns to Goodison Park, where he spent the second half of last season on loan, after Everton struck a permanent deal in the region of £3m with Tottenham for the winger.
He has agreed a three-year deal and the move comes after Spurs initially sought around £9m for the former England international at the start of the summer.
The £9.5m fee for Funes Mori, who has signed a five-year contract, was £3.25m higher than Martinez had previously stated the River Plate centre-back would cost.

Funes Mori has been capped once by Argentina and Martinez said: "We have made a massive effort. It is a fee that reflects the value and the ambition that we have as a football club to attract such an exciting player for the future."
They join Tom Cleverley, Gerard Deulofeu, Leandro Rodriguez and Mason Holgate as new arrivals this summer, although Cleverley is likely to be sidelined for between six to eight weeks after damaging ankle ligaments in Saturday's stalemate with Tottenham.
However, Martinez failed in his search for a No10 with Xherdan Shaqiri targeted before he moved to Stoke and Dynamo Kiev unwilling sellers of Andriy Yarmolenko. Everton also discussed moving for QPR striker Charlie Austin but decided not to pursue a deal.
Martinez will consider keeping his squad intact as the club's biggest achievement with Chelsea's pursuit of John Stones proving forlorn. A bid from Norwich for Steven Naismith was also rejected.
