Claudio Ranieri and his Leicester side are the only unbeaten team in the Premier League |
PERENNIALLY dubbed the 'Tinkerman' Claudio Ranieri might find his moniker switched to the 'Comeback King' given his ability to galvanise a Leicester fightback.
For the fourth successive match this season, Leicester were behind only to rouse themselves to secure something out of a game.
And a point at the Britannia Stadium against Stoke has left Ranieri's side as the only unbeaten team in the Premier League - and just three points behind leaders Manchester City.
"It's nice knowing we have it in our locker to come back from behind," said Leicester skipper Wes Morgan. "We've proved once again how good we actually are.
"But we don't want to have to keep doing that for the rest of the season. We want to try and get some clean sheets and actually go up in a game.
Leicester captain Wes Morgan is eager to get a clean sheet so Ranieri will buy the squad pizza |
"I keep hearing the manager wants to offer us pizza for a clean sheet. He was saying it again at the end of the game: 'I want to fork out for the pizzas!'
"I mean we all love pizza don't we? So hopefully we can get some sooner, rather than later."
