Jimmy Patton, 84, is set to marry Amy Phillips, 25
COMEDIAN Jimmy Patton is planning to marry a fan he met on Facebook who is 59 years his junior, it's been revealed.

Jimmy, 84 - who regularly starred alongside Paul and Barry on popular television series The Chuckle Brothers - recently admitted that he "never thought" that he would find love again.
The retired star's wife, Valerie, sadly passed away five years ago. However, he has finally found happiness after meeting 25-year-old Amy Phillips on Facebook 18 months ago.

Jimmy gushed: "Amy has been a fan of Chucklevision all of her life and commented on something I posted.
"It just went from there. I never thought I would find this kind of love again," he added to The Sun.

Traditional Jimmy made sure to ask Amy's father's permission before he popped the question in the couple's living room in South Yorkshire.
He explained of the special moment: "It was emotional. Thankfully she said yes.
"We haven't set a date yet but we are very happy."
Amy's dad - who is 16 years younger than Jimmy - apparently said that the pair are "really good" together.

Jimmy appeared on Chucklevision from 1990-2009 and was known for his catchphrase "Remember - no slacking".
Despite the funnyman having his parents' blessing, his daughter, Debbie Baggot, reportedly told The Sun: "I've got a lot I could say, but I'm afraid it's something between me and my dad."
She added that she "loved him no matter what" though.
