Thibaut Courtois could face two months out with a knee injury |
CHELSEA goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
That is according to the Daily Mail, who claim Courtois could be out for at least two months after suffering a serious knee injury.
The 23-year-old returned from international duty with Belgium unharmed only to pick up the injury in his first training session back.
Courtois, who had scans earlier today, has not damaged his cruciate ligament as first feared but the Blues will know more over the next 24 hours.
Summer signing Asmir Begovic, who cost £8million from Stoke, will deputise in Courtois' absence, starting with Everton at the weekend.
