ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI described his five goals in nine minutes as "incredible."
Bayern Munich went 1-0 down at home to Wolfsburg last night inside 26 minutes in their Bundesliga clash.
And in search of a goal, Pep Guardiola decided to put the Poland international on at half time hoping to make an impact for his side that currently sits top of the table.
Lewandowski took just six minutes to get his side level after Thomas Muller provided the assist in the first of their five goals in the 5-1 victory at the Allianz Arena.
The 27-year-old went on to score another four, including a sensational acrobatic volley for his fifth, which culminated in an astonishing five goals in just nine minutes.
"I am very satisfied, that was incredible," the Polish striker told Sky. "I just wanted to shoot, I didn't really think what will happen afterwards. After we'd been one down, we knew that [we] must improve and score twice at least, but five goals, that's incredible.
"I don't know how fast it was but it was fast. But when you're on pitch, you're just focused on football. After the forth I looked at the scoreboard, it was the 60th minute and I only thought: 'Oooh.'
"Guardiola didn't need to say anything, I know what I have to do on the pitch but it was only one game; we have to win the next games as well. We are Bayern Munich."
