Arsene Wenger defends under-fire Olivier Giroud after poor form for Arsenal and France
Olivier Giroud has struggled for form this season
ARSENE WENGER has defended Olivier Giroud after he was booed off by France fans during the international break.

The French striker missed several chances and was hauled off after 62 minutes by Didier Deschamps against Serbia on Monday.
The 28-year-old has scored just once against Crystal Palace as the Gunners' early season form has left them five points leaders Manchester City.
"He has my full support. I believe being booed is part of being a striker," Wenger said.
"There's no striker in the world who hasnt been questioned.
"When he misses a chance, being booed can happen."

Wenger also reiterated his confidence in his forwards after they scored just one goal between them.
He added: "We have Sanchez, we have Giroud, we have Walcott.
"When you have many strikers people say how do you keep them all happy.
"I think it's about quality and efficiency of our game.
"We can score goals, I'm not worried about that."
