Arsenal icon: David De Gea could still leave Manchester United
David De Gea was on form for Manchester United against Southampton
IAN WRIGHT believes David De Gea could still leave Manchester United at the end of the season despite signing a new four-year deal.

De Gea agreed a new contract after his move to Real Madrid fell through at the last minute on deadline day.
And while the shot-stopper has been impressive since his return to the United side after being omitted by Louis van Gaal until after deadline day, Wright feels he could still leave Old Trafford next year.

"David De Gea deserves a massive pat on the back how he has handled himself following his aborted move back to Spain," Wright wrote in The Sun.
"The keeper made a string of super saves to deny Southampton a late leveller.

"De Gea was axed because Van Gaal feared the row over his transfer would affect performances.
"But I disagree, De Gea could have played in every United match and he would have shown complete professionalism.
"Sergio Romero let in a couple of goals I am convinced De Gea would have saved.
"But everything is back to normal now and De Gea has signed a new contract — although I still think he could move at the end of this season."
