AMAZON has refreshed its Fire TV set-top box – and its packed full of staggeringly-sharp Ultra HD content.
Amazon's best-selling gadget just got a lot better.
The US online firm has revealed a major refresh to its Fire TV box, which boasts the ability to stream your favourite TV shows and movies in 4K Ultra HD.
Amazon claims to have updated hundreds of series and movies ready to stream on its Prime Instant Video service, in stunning 4K.
But 4K is not the only improvement to Fire TV. The set-top gadget also includes an improved processor, faster Wi-Fi and an SD Card slot to hold all of your content.
The remote also gets a refresh, which Amazon says makes it much easier to use.
Alongside the remote, Amazon are launching an updated games controller.

The retailer wants to provide high-quality, low-cost gaming options for families and updating the controller should help improve the experience.
The all-new optional Amazon Fire TV Game Controller now includes voice search, an audio jack for private listening with Dolby enhancements and refined controls.
This 4K ready box will certainly shake-up the TV market and could give Apple TV a serious run for its money.
And with exclusive content, such as the new show from the Top Gear team coming soon, Fire TV could continue to be a best-seller.
