SHE tied the knot with TV star Declan Donnelly today, but who exactly is Ali Astall?

 

Having enjoyed a strictly professional relationship, Ali and Dec began dating in spring 2013. 

After a whirlwind romance of just a few months, the pair moved in together in the Geordie funnyman's Chiswick home at the beginning of last year.

At the time, Dec opened up about the romance, admitting there had always been a spark between him and Ali.

 

The beauty channelled her inner Grace Kelly in the 1950s style frock

 

Ali and Declan were married in his hometown of Newcastle

 He said: "I think we’ve always been attracted to each other but it has always been that thing of we work together. This is the first time we’ve given it a try. We always hung out. When she was single and I was single we’d go out for dinner on Valentine’s night together because we didn’t have partners. This year we went out as couple."

 

Currently the couple share their home with their dog Rocky, but Dec has said he's excited to expand his brood with Ali.

Speaking to The Times, Dec revealed having a child would be the next stage in their relationship.

The couple had their first date on Valentine's Day 2013

He said: "I guess that's just the next stage of that dynamic changing and the next stage of our lives."

On her big day today, the bride opted for a vintage inspired wedding gown by Phillipa Lepley as she tied the knot with the TV star.

 

Ali ensured all eyes were on her as she arrived at her star-studded ceremony in Newcastle.

The talent manager opted for a classic wedding look, and channelled her inner Grace Kelly in a 1950s inspired frock.

The traditional white number featured a stunning full skirt, which gave it a prom-style vibe.

 

For almost ten years, Ali was simply Dec's manager

Cinched in at the waist, the gown emphasised Ali's enviable hourglass figure.

Although demure, the dress flashed just the right amount of skin thanks its stylish scooped back.

Finishing the look with all the trimmings, the soon-to-be Mrs Donnelly wore a cascading vale and carried a bouquet of white roses.

She wore her golden locks in a sophisticated bun, and left a sweeping side fringe down to frame her pretty face.

Ant and Dec were also dressed to impress in lovely blue suits

The beauty couldn't hide her smile as she briefly stopped to pose for photos on the church steps before heading down the aisle.

Ali and Dec's nuptials were led by the Britain's Got Talent presenter's older brother, Father Dermott Donnelly.

The ceremony was held at St. Michael's church in the centre of Newcastle, where guests including Phillip Schofield, Holly Willoughby and Tess Daly witnessed the ceremony
