Don't mess with Gillian Anderson.
The X Files star actually gets TOO aggressive when she is doing her film stunts.
Filming her latest movie, Robot Overlords, she actually lost virtually all her eyelashes when a foot caught her in the face.

"During the scene in the caves, I was meant to push a stuntman as I was running and I pushed him so hard his leg flew up, he kicked me in the face and ripped off all my eyelashes," the actress laughs.
"The rubber on the bottom of his shoe literally ripped off all my eye lashes".
Ever the lady, she takes the full blame.
"It was my own fault. I'm the one that shoved him too hard!"

Luckily they have grown back in time to be arched beautifully as ever in the new trailer for the X Files reboot.
And that's not the only damage the fearless actress inflicted on herself on the shoot.
"I pulled a groin muscle running and jumping in the forest scene," reveals the gung-ho star.
Anderson was chatting to her Robot Overlords co-star James Tarpey at the huge MCM London Comic Con.
The flirty fellow does his best to pretend to conduct a respectable interview, but seems more focussed on trying to set up a hot date.
Frankly, we're not sure he could handle the feisty A-lister.

Anderson is far more responsible when she is talking about her two sons.
She tells James that she is careful with what Oscar, 9, and Felix, 7, watch in terms of movie violence.

Even so, she couldn't resist showing them the 12A certificate Robot Overlords.

Robot Overlords is a home grown action adventure with cheeky nods to 1980s hits like the Goonies but with recognisable locations in England, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man.
The film is set in the robot-created ruins of a future Britain where a group of kids, led by Callan McAuliffe (The Great Gatsby), set out to join the Resistance.
Hot on their heels however is their old teacher (turned robot collaborator) Mr Smythe, played by Sir Ben Kingsley and his unwilling captive Gillian Anderson.
Robot Overlords is out now on Digital HD,
