Turkish giants Besiktas plot stunning swoop to sign Arsenal star ahead of rivals
Besiktas reportedly want to sign Mesut Ozil
TURKISH giants Besiktas are reportedly considering a move to sign Arsenal ace Mesut Ozil.

Erol Kaynar, a former board member for Besiktas claims Erdan Torunogullari, the club's transfer chief, has held talks with Ozil's agents.
"Erdal [Torunogullari] met with Mesut Ozil’s representatives last week and made an enquiry," Kaynar said.

Ozil was Arsenal's marquee signing during the summer of 2013, heading to the Emirates in a £42.5million move from Real Madrid.
The 26-year-old has found the back of the net 12 times in 74 appearances for the London club.

While Besiktas are said to be looking to sign Ozil, it is widely known the Germany international would like to play for rivals Fenerbahce.
“In the future I want to wear a Fenerbahçe shirt it would be an honour,” the 26-year-old told Sabah.
“Everyone knows I am a Fenerbahce fan.”
