Tottenham endure transfer blow as West Brom put £16m strikers up for sale
Victor Anichebe may be sold by West Brom this summer
TOTTENHAM'S pursuit of West Brom striker Saido Berahino could be over.

The north London club have been trailing Berahino, 22, all summer but have found their advances of around £18million snubbed by Baggies officials.
And Albion manager Tony Pulis reportedly needs to shed two forwards off his squad list to make room for new signings Salomon Rondon and Rickie Lambert.

But it appears Berahino will not be sacrificed.
Instead, Pulis will sell Ideye Brown and Victor Anichebe - bought for a combined £16m - rather than cash in on Spurs' interest in the young Englishman, report the Express and Star.

Brown, 26, was a £10m acquisition from Dynamo Kiev only last summer but scored just four league goals from 13 starts in his debut season in England.
The forward is expected to be offloaded, with Anichebe, 27, possibly following suit.

The Nigerian, who cost West Brom £6m, was a 74th-minute substitute in their 3-0 defeat to Manchester City on Monday.
After the game Pulis conceded he should have played a lone striker, as he did for much of last season.
And, with six front men (including youth product Adil Nabi) at the Hawthorns, it appears two are primed for the axe.
