Bastian Schweinsteiger makes his first start for United after three substitute appearances. Michael Carrick drops to the bench alongside Ander Herrera and Ashley Young.
Newcastle boss Steve McClaren makes three changes to the team which lost 2-0 to Swansea last weekend.
Steven Taylor, Ayoze Perez and Aleksandar Mitrovic come into the side replacing Daryl Janmaat, Moussa Sissoko & Papiss Cisse.
New signing Florian Thauvin starts on the bench.
