Slaven Bilic thanks Sam Allardyce and promises new signings after West Ham stun Arsenal
Slaven Bilic's West Ham side beat Arsenal 2-0 today
SLAVEN BILIC says West Ham are still "short of a few players" as they kicked off their Premier League campaign today.

The new Hammers boss spoke after witnessing his side triumph 2-0 at Arsenal.
West Ham appointed Bilic after sacking manager Sam Allardyce at the end of last season.

And the boss, who has already overseen West Ham's exit from the Europa League this summer, expressed his delight at the way his team overturned their Premier League opponents.
“We are all very pleased and it is great start for us," he said.

"Not only for the three points but points against a team that are the title contenders.
"If you add to that a London derby, it makes it a even bigger win. This is very special. I am very proud of the second half performance.
“I know we have a good team and I know we have that in ourselves but I wasn’t sure how we were going to show it.
"Sam Allardyce left me a good team and left me some quality in the side. We are still short of a few players but we have a chance to do a good job in the Premier League."
The Hammers are expected to make a £12million bid for Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez next week, while they are pursuing QPR's £15m man Charlie Austin.
