The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has been unveiled in London |
THERE is a lot to be excited about with Samsung's brand-new phablet, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
After months of speculation and some high-profile leaks, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is finally here.
The latest Samsung phablet sports a scratch-resistant 5.7inch QuadHD Super AMOLED display with an eye-watering 518pixels-per-inch resolution.
The staggering display, which has the same number of pixels as last year, dominates the front of the 171g handset.
Samsung has completely overhauled the design of its flagship phablet, which now boasts the same metallic chamfered curves as the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.

Samsung was praised for its move from plastic to a premium new design with the Galaxy S6 – fortunately, the trend has continued with the Note 5.
The new phablet carries the same premium feel as the new S6 and feels good in the palm.
Unfortunately the new design also marks the end of the Note's removable rear shells and expandable storage – something which is sure to frustrate power users.
In our brief time with the handset – the trade-off is probably worth it.
The newly-improved S-Pen is now spring-loaded, and pops out of the chamfered metal handset with a satisfying click.

Powering the new premium handset are 4GB of RAM, as well as a choice of either 32 or 64GB of internal storage.
It also sports a 3,000mAh battery, which should provide enough juice to keep the 518ppi display running for a little over a day.
The device also supports Samsung Pay – the South Korean firm's new contactless payment solution.
NewsNewsBlog.blogspot.com will have a full review of the handset soon.
