Portsmouth 2 - Derby 1: Rams suffer shock Capital One Cup exit
Portsmouth overcame Derby thanks to Conor Chaplin's late goal
DERBY were left red-faced by Portsmouth super-sub Conor Chaplin.

Chaplin hit a late winner after Jason Shackell had cancelled out an Adam McGurk header.
New Derby boss Paul Clement might have been mindful of Rams losing four of their previous six first-round League Cup ties to lower league opposition.
But it failed to stop him making eight changes from the side which kicked off their Championship campaign with a goalless draw at Bolton on Saturday.
It meant debuts for centre-back Alex Pearce, signed from Reading, and Isak Ssewankambo, the former Chelsea youth right-back.
And former Aston Villa forward Andreas Weiman came in for his first start after a cameo at Bolton.

New-look Pompey, who gave full debuts to Adam McGurk, Jayden Stockley and Brandon Haunstrup, were revved up by an impressive opening-day league win home to Dagenham on Saturday.
Despite the step-up in class of the opposition, League Two Pompey pushed Derby back early doors.
Kyle Bennett, who hit two against Daggers, was just wide with Lee Grant beaten. And Grant saved a fierce 20-yard cross shot from defender Haunstrup.
But Rams came into it as Weinmann blazed wide on the counter from a Craig Forsyth ball
A fierce near-post cross from Johnny Russell was blocked by home defender Matt Clarke. And Jeff Hendrick guided an 18-yard drive wide just before the interval for the visitors.

Pompey hit the front five minutes after the re-start with the help of Derby stopper Grant.
McGurk nodded a Stockley cross goalwards. Grant seemed to have saved it but allowed the ball to slip from his grasp and into the net.
Derby brought on big-hitters Chris Martin and record capture Tom Ince and equalised through defender Jason Shackell in the 73rd minute. Shackell headed a Johnny Russell cross beyond Pompey keeper Paul Jones.
But substitute Conor Chaplin put Pompey back in front as he steered home an Enda Stevens cross three minutes later.
And it left last year’s quarter-finalists reeling.
