Nicolas Otamendi eyes Premier League and European titles after rejecting Man Utd for City
Nicolas Otamendi eyes titles after signing five-year Manchester City deal
NICOLAS OTAMENDI is hoping to help Manchester City to become domestic and European champions this season after completing his move from Valencia.

The Argentina international arrived at the Etihad on a five-year deal earlier today, joining compatriots Martin Demichelis, Sergio Aguero and Pablo Zabaleta.

And the 27-year-old, who was also a target for local rivals Manchester United, admits he arrived at City as they matched his hunger to win titles.

Speaking to City TV, the centre-half said: "I am very happy because I am coming to an amazing club.
"The chance to play in the Premier League and enjoy every game, signing for a club that looks wonderful from the outside, having the opportunity to enjoy it from the inside…It’s a huge joy for me.

"Obviously every player hopes to win titles. In the European competitions it’s important to think game by game to gain confidence.
"It would be a dream to fight for the Champions League and win the Premier League. A club like City has to aspire to these things."
