Anthony Martial scored eight goals for Monaco last season

MANCHESTER UNITED have made a £36.3million bid for Monaco forward Anthony Martial, according to reports.

 

The Red Devils are in desperate need of attacking talent before the transfer window shuts tomorrow.

Louis van Gaal has just Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez to call upon as experienced Premier League strikers.

The striker scored eight goals in 31 league appearances last season and featured in the Champions league.Manchester United have scored just three times in the league this season, with Rooney's goal drought stretching to 10 league games.

And according to French broadcaster RMC Sport United have made a move for 19-year-old Monaco talent Martial.

The France U21 international penned a new contract with the Ligue 1 side in June after impressing last term.
