Manchester United make 'discreet enquiry' into £40m star striker transfer
Harry Kane played against Manchester United on Saturday
MANCHESTER UNITED have made "discreet enquiries" into Harry Kane's availability, according to reports.

Manager Louis van Gaal is understood to be seeking forward recruits after selling Robin van Persie to Fenerbahce this summer.
And the Mirror claim the boss has instructed Old Trafford officials to sound out Tottenham's Kane, who played against the Dutchman's side on Saturday.

The England striker, 22, burst onto the scene last season with 31 goals in all competitions for Spurs.
Tottenham reportedly value their ace at around £40million, a fee that has not deterred Van Gaal in the past.

The Red Devils boss has already spent around £250m on new players since his arrival following the 2014 World Cup.
On Saturday he insisted he was happy with his attacking unit but kept open the option of a new signing coming in.
"We need players with speed and creativity - (Angel) Di Maria is a player like that and now he is gone, so we need that type of player," he said.
"When we can buy another striker who has a lot more qualities than our players then we will buy."

Spurs, however, are loath to lose their star striker as manager Mauricio Pochettino himself seeks to add to his forward arsenal.
The manager is expected to shed both Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor off the wage bill this summer and is said to be preparing a £17m bid for 20-year-old Real Betis ace Alvaro Vadillo.
