Manchester United goalkeeper told he can make La Liga move on a free transfer
MANCHESTER UNITED goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard is set to leave the club on a free transfer, according to reports.

The 31-year-old has spent most of his time playing second fiddle to David De Gea since moving to Old Trafford in 2010.
And it's understood the shot-stopper does not feature in Louis van Gaal's plans this season, despite United's goalkeeping dilemma.

Danish publication Ekstra Bladet report that Lindegaard has held crunch talks with Van Gaal and he will not be making inroads into the first team.
The report adds that United have told him he can leave on a free transfer despite having a year left to run on his contract.

It's believed Lindegaard will not make a return to Scandinavia, where he got his break at Norwegian club Aalesund in 2009.
Instead, the Denmark international is expected to make the move to Spain in search of first-team football in La Liga.
