Antoine Griezmann has emerged as a Manchester United target |
NEWS NEWS BLOG SPORT brings you the latest transfer news from Old Trafford.
Thomas Muller has been told to make a transfer request if he wants to complete a move to Manchester United.
A United source told the Daily Star the German international is Louis van Gaal's absolute priority signing this summer.
"He is the one the club wants more than anyone else. With him in the side, United could genuinely challenge for major honours again and they are willing to break the bank to get him.
"But he will have to force the issue himself and make it clear he wants to leave Bayern. It is all down to him now."
The Red Devils are interested in signing Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid, according to the Daily Mail.
The France international scored 22 goals in 37 La Liga games last term and is understood to be Van Gaal's replacement after missing out on Pedro.
However, the winger will not come cheap after he signed a new contract boosting his release clause to £57million last week.
United have also made contact with Dynamo Moscow striker Aleksandr Kokorin, according to reports.
Russian publication TASS claim the club have opened talks with Kokorin's representatives and are keen to bring in the 24-year-old.
But the Red Devils could have a fight on their hands with rivals Tottenham who are also hot on the trail of the Russia international and in desperate need of attacking options.
