The Windows 10 user awoke to find his stashed collection of pornography on repeat on the screen |
A MAN was left red-faced after his family computer created a slideshow of his hidden porn images.
One Windows user got a nasty surprise after upgrading his laptop to Microsoft's latest – and final – operating system. The PC owner awoke the next day to discover that Windows 10 had automatically build a slideshow of images found on the computer – leaving the newly-updated laptop to cycle through a series of pornographic images. The slideshow of explicit images flashed across the constantly-refreshing Live Tile within the new Start Menu."Loaded up WIN 10 last night and left it on to do its thing," wrote Reddit user FalloutBoS.
Woke up to wife asking why I set it to rotate all my porn images right on the desk top view

"Woke up to wife asking why I set it to rotate all my porn images right on the desk top view."I have no idea how to shut that feature off and that computer is staying shut down until I do."It turns out Windows 10, which has already been installed on a staggering 14 million computers across the globe, draws pictures from the default image folder to create a slideshow of pictures within the Live Tile.Microsoft engineers likely thought this would be a hassle-free way to present users with a nostalgic stroll down memory lane from within the Start Menu."Free windows and a free trip to the doghouse. Thanks Microsoft!" the Reddit user posted.Reddit users rushed to ask for more details on the embarrassing incident. The red-faced PC owners quickly clarified that the images scrolling across his computer weren't "hardcore bondage," but rather "high res screensaver type nudes.""There are a few of couples in there that my wife found artistic too. Black and white high contrast stuff," the Redditor added."Don't make my mistake, keep your private pictures out of My Pictures, no matter how deep you hide them in sub folders. "My wife is very happy I admitted my mistake on this sub. She said I took my medicine and she now finds it quite funny."The issue is unlikely to hit many people upgrading to Windows 10.As one Reddit commenter eloquently put it, "Don't blame MS because you don't know how to hide your porn."If you have upgraded your Windows computer and want to turn off the Live Tile feature, which will also cycle through any images kept within the default My Pictures folder, you can right-click the tile and select "Turn Live Tile Off."
