Mario Balotelli is greeted by Vincent Kompany at the Etihad |
MARIO BALOTELLI made a not-so-triumphant return to the Etihad this weekend.
Balotelli was back at Manchester City to watch Manuel Pellegrini's men thump title rivals Chelsea 3-0.
It has not quite gone to plan for the Italian striker since he left City in 2013 to return home with AC Milan.

Balotelli joined Liverpool for £16million last summer but now finds himself surplus to requirements at Anfield.
But any worries were hidden well by the 25-year-old, who greeted old team-mates in the tunnel after City's win over Chelsea.

Aston Villa star Micah Richards - who also used to play for City - accompanied Balotelli.
City posted a picture of captain Vincent Kompany embracing Balotelli along with the comment: "Nice to celebrate with an old friend! #cityvchelsea #mcfc"
Balotelli exchanged a few words with a club worker before he and Richards bumped into victorious stars Kompany and Sergio Aguero.
