WERDER BREMEN defender Jannik Vestergaard has responded to speculation linking him with a move to the Premier League.
Newcastle and Everton are reportedly keeping tabs on the Denmark international, with recent reports linking the clubs with £7million bids.
However, the 23-year-old centre-half insists he is not aware of the interest.
He said on the rumours: "I do not know anything about any interest in my services from clubs of England."
Werder Bremen general manager Thomas Eichin has also moved denied his club is about to sell Vestergaard.
He told newspaper Kreiszeitung Syke: "We have not been receiving an offer for Jannik Vestergaard.
"Jannik is an important player in our first-team setup."
