Alexandre Lacazette has extended his stay at Lyon |
ALEXANDRE LACAZETTE has signed a new contract with Lyon until 2019.
The 24-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League with rivals Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United all said to be interested in the forward.
The French international had an excellent Ligue 1 campaign with Lyon last season, scoring 27 goals.
And ahead of their season opener against Lorient tomorrow night, Lyon have announced Lacazette's one-year extension to his contract.
Lacazette said: "I am happy and proud to extend my contract.
"People can stop talking. Now I hope they will speak of me because I'm scoring and Lyon are winning."
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas added: "I am very happy that Alexandre Lacazette extends for one year until 2019!"
