Chelsea have been offered the chance to sign Brazilian Alexandre Pato for around £11million according to the Sunday Telegraph.
Pato has struggled in recent seasons and looks set to leave Corinthians, but he has a number of options after also being offered to Manchester United and Sao Paulo.
Pato began his career as a promising 16-year-old at Internacional before he moved to AC Milan in 2007 where he became hampered by a number of injures.
The move for Pato would be a surprise, given Chelsea'a attacking options, which have been bolstered this week by the signing of Pedro from Barcelona.
The Blues have made another inquiry about the availability of Real Madrid's Raphael Varane according to the Mail on Sunday.
Jose Mourinho is in the market for another centre-back as he looks to reshape his defence, however it is unlikely that the France international will be allowed to leave the Bernabeu.
Chelsea have completed a deal for Brazil Under-20 winger Kenedy from Fluminense for an undisclosed fee.
He was part of Chelsea's squad on their pre-season tour to North America and has now completed a move to Stamford Bridge.
The 19-year-old said: "I very much enjoyed my time with the squad during pre-season and I am very grateful to Fluminense for allowing me this opportunity.
"I am very happy to complete my transfer to Chelsea.
"It is an exciting time for me to join the English Premier League champions and I hope I can become an important player for the club."
