Kevin De Bruyne and Jose Mourinho did not get along at Chelsea |
NEWS NEWS BLOG SPORT brings you all the latest transfer news from Stamford Bridge.
Jose Mourinho has said he let Man City target Kevin De Bruyne leave after he came to his office crying.
De Bruyne left Stamford Bridge for Wolfsburg in January 2014 after failing to break into the first team and has since become one of the most sought after players in Europe.
But Mourinho says he had no option but to sell the Belgian after his teary demands.
"With De Bruyne, if you have a player knocking on your door and crying every day he wants to leave, you have to make a decision," Mourinho said
"At that time, Chelsea did well. If De Bruyne stayed here, not happy and not motivated, and we'd sold him after a year, we'd have got less -- 50 percent less than what we sold him for. So we sold him. At that moment, it was very good business."
Eden Hazard has hailed Pedro as one of the best in the world after the Spaniard completed his move to Stamford.
He said: "When you play with Chelsea, you want to play with big players.
"He (Pedro) can bring a new experience. He is very good, fast, I want to play with him.
"I want to learn, I'm still young, I want to be one of the very best and I learn from the best."
The Colombian has struggled badly since arriving in January and Chelsea are open to letting the player go if a suitable offer arrives.
Juve director Beppe Marotta is said to be desperate to sign Cuadrado on loan, who wants to relaunch his career in Turin.
